Commander's Welcome

Hello Everyone

We are coming into the convention season.

The Department Convention is in McAllen, Texas June 24 – 28, 2009 and the National Convention will be in Louisville, Ky. August 21 – 27, 2009. More on these conventions later.

Department is changing the way the post membership goals are set. They are going to use the green bar sheet (the roster sent by Department). The bottom line on the sheet plus 1 – 10%. Everyone should make those phone calls to everyone who hasn’t paid their dues in the past 2 years and if they have no intention in remaining a legionnaire send in to Department a data sheet and their card to have them removed from your roster instead of waiting for the 2 years and letting them drop off.
